Elizabeth, know as Libby, daughter of George W. and Susan (Hawblitz) Marshall, was born in Barry County, Michigan on April 8, 1868. Elizabeth "Libby" was the twin sister of Sarah Annie Marshall.

Elizabeth died on May 27, 1947 and is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery in Nashville, Michigan.
